I’m one of those strange sort of people that actually really enjoys the “foolish, doltish, idiotic” flavoring to Christianity amidst this hipster world. When you don’t fight the fact that vigorous Christianity is always out-of-style, and that Truth-telling is always unfashionable – it really helps stick a triumphant giggle in your inner-man.

The subject of “being the fool” – well, I’ve preached on it often and written on it extensively.

I placed one of my favorite quotes on the subject at the very start of chapter one in my book, The Bold Return of the Dunces. For your reading pleasure . . .

If I thought I could win one more soul to the Lord by walking on my head and playing the tambourine with my toes, I'd learn how!

William Booth

Isn’t that a hilarious quote?

I encourage you to stop trying to fit into this world and start living out the triumph only discovered by the fools for Christ!

Cheering you on down the narrow way of the Cross!
